God – Identity, Purpose, and Modus Operandi

Here I address god’s identity, purpose, and methods. God, for this essay, is omniscient, omnipotent, benevolent, and simultaneously zero and infinity, knowledge and knower, and timeless and eternal. I use god as synonym to ultimate/fundamental truth/knowledge.

Existence is created only when oneness ceases. A universe uniform in all properties at all time/distance scales is oneness. Consciousness in this state cannot determine its location, velocity, or any other features, as points here are indistinguishable from each other. Time is meaningless as there are no events. The knowledge that you exist is all knowledge i.e. knowledge and knower unite in this state, as does zero and infinity, and timelessness and eternality. Physicists call this singularity. This state is, theoretically, attainable by us. It is a suspension of senses and memories, and existence as pure awareness. It is being aware, with nothing to be aware of. This is where time and space, and we and god, unite. It is not a nothing. Nothing is defined only in the presence of something. This is nothing and everything simultaneously. This is pure consciousness; god prior to creation.

What would god’s purpose be? If god is omniscient, creation serves no purpose. However, there is a question beyond even god, “What if s/he is absent?” The answer is his/her sole motivation to act. That s/he cannot answer this seems contradictory as s/he omniscient. However, it is an irreconcilable contradiction, even for god, to know events if s/he never existed. That is why s/he would destroy self; to complete his/her knowledge. Intuitively, this makes sense, as when oneness is destroyed, creation results. Time and space separate.

Creation, by definition, is non-uniformity; god is uniformity. We complain about unequal distribution of whatever. However, creation ceases, and becomes god, if everything is uniformly distributed in space/time. Demanding differences to be smaller to alleviate suffering is meaningless. Magnitudes of differences are invariably relative. Perceptions of injustice are inevitable in creation. Inequality is a cost for existence. This does not mean to say that the inevitable evil/suffering should be tolerated. The existence of suffering is a non-sufferer’s chance to remove it, and sufferer’s chance for resilience/heroism. Creation, invariably, tends to god. The second law of thermodynamics, which states entropy always increases, and mankind’s endless debates/actions aiming betterment, show that creation cannot rest till perfection i.e. god is reached. Creation abhors the unethical/imperfection.

God works in probabilities. A single good/bad action may escape reward/loss. However, as numbers add, results are inevitable. God always talks with us, though we ignore. S/he conveys approval/disapproval by what we feel inside. A test to know the ethics of actions is to watch feelings. If they are positive, it is right, else wrong. Thus, when you suffer, look inside for flaws in actions or thoughts, instead of looking out. It is god telling that you are wrong. Success is a non-contradictory positive feeling, not wealth/power/prestige.

Creation offers us perfect lives. It has variety to entertain, problems to display resilience, knowledge to learn, and probabilities for comebacks from impossible situations. The luminance we feel when we are proud of ourselves is god telling us, “Well done, Mate”. As for god incarnating or sending us his messengers or sons, are we really being serious?
