What I meant -- although in a light vein and jokingly -- was that your your wife's editing efforts dont help it much coz the original post written itself would be bad -- wife's efforts wuld be great but they can help only so much is what I meant -- not that your wife's efforts ara bad! |

Friend, while I was away a lot seemed to have happened :) Anyway, my 2 cents - I dont really believe in matching viewpoints. People reach their intellectual viewpoints through a long arduous journey and start talking from there. In a typical argument, we compare destinations and forget the journey each of us have had. Your viewpoints of the world and your values are built based on your journey and not someone else's. My only suggestion (unsolicited): Dont expect a lot of people around to share your values. How much ever we speak with numbers and facts, we as people are speak our minds. We can clothe them in words or facts but they are our views, we hold them dear and not many can let them go just like that because they make us different from others, they are our identity, we are scared of losing it! Random rambling but may be I communicated a li'le atleast! |

what do you mean by mass impact sarath?(ref.your reply to nadira reg abhinav).if mass impact was your criteria for compilation of this list,then sachin and Kapil should have topped the list,Kapil truely changed the whole generation after his World cup win, and i do not agree again when you speak of sports popular in India,if Geet sethi's contribution are not important coz his sport is not much played in India,then by that parameter you must include the captain of our Kabbadi team,who leads us to gold in whatever international even we take part in.I feel,rather,the contribution of Abhinav and Rathore and Sethi are even more important as these events are not played by a many in our country!,your list is waste without Abhinav Bindra,whatever be your criteria, he is the person to get us the first individual gold in the olympics,thats enough!
